Why offer specialized services?

Aren't the treatments the same?

Well, let me ask you a question...

If you broke your toe, would you got see a throat specialist? Probably not.

The DSM (Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders) is a tool used to asses and categorize presenting symptoms.

This information helps to guide treatment in two ways: 1) Identify and track the intensity, reduction, and/or resolution of your symptoms; and 2) Provide insight on the appropriate treatment, objectives, and interventions.

These two areas coupled with your personal therapy goals, create the most optimum platform for your success.

Please remember, you are NOT a diagnosis. A doctor may assess and diagnose you with high blood pressure, and this information helps to guide the doctor regarding your medical needs to help you manage the condition and get better.

Specialties work in that same manner.
